- Castle's Kettle & Pub was established to create an unique dining and entertaining experience in Blacksburg. With the concept of an Irish pub and restaurant, CKP is the place to experience great food, pints, and music.
- Castle's Kettle & Pub is a place that is a hybrid between Ireland, America, and what we feel when with family and friends. Our goal is to build a place that feels welcome to locals, alumni, and students. We want to create a gathering place for artists, musicians, travelers, and anyone else wanting to enjoy the company of others along with good food, pints, and music. When you are here it feels like home, only better.

It pays to get your friends to friend us!
Castle's Kettle and Pub (CKP) is asking you to friend us on Facebook. For every 100 people that
friend us, we will give you a $2 certificate, with a maximum value of $20 possible. The contest
is structured in a way to reward those who friend us early.
A tier is 100 friends. Tiers earn certificates in increments of $2 for every tier that is formed above them, in addition
to their own teir. For example, Tier 1 will earn $2 for Tier 2, 3, 4, and their own tier, Tier 1,
if 400 friends are reached, for a total of $8. This is a one time certificate that can be used
towards any food or nonalcoholic drink purchase. The CKP Friend Challenge ends October 31, 2011,
and gift certificates will be sent via Facebook messages in early November.

- Rules & Restrictions
- 1) The CKP Friend Challenge starts 7/27/2011 and expires "the first day of business" (estimated late Dec, 2011) at midnight Eastern Time.
- 2) The CKP Friend Challenge closes "the first day of business" (estimated late Dec, 2011) at midnight and only friends at this time are eligible for the certificate. If you friend CKP during this period but un-friend before 10/31/2011 at midnight Eastern Time, you will not receive any certificate.
- 3) If you un-friend and re-friend you are still eligible for the contest but:
- a. your position and reward will change to the new friend number, and
- b. it will not count as an additional friend in our contest.
- 4) The maximum value of any certificate via the CKP Friend Challenge is $20.
- 5) This certificate has no cash value.
- 6) Each certificate is for one use only and must be used in its entirety.
- 7) This certificate can be used for food, nonalcoholic drink, or merchandise. Alcohol purchases cannot be covered via this certificate.
- 8) Certificates will be awarded in November via Facebook messages.
- 9) Certificates may be printed or displayed via a smartphone for redemption.
